For your convenience, we have packaged some Legendary Experiences to give you ideas on putting together your own party — inaugural or otherwise.

Team building - Alexandria Style!

Alexandria Scavenger Hunt — Combine a little history with a lot of fun. Learn about this historic seaport and mingle with locals who will clue you in on where to go and what to see. A great team-building experience that can be tailored for your group!

Basic Hunt: Includes Scavenger Hunt questions & answers, goody bag and one disposable camera per team of 3 or more. $12 per person. Add souvenir Alexandria Sports Cap: $25 per person inclusive; Alexandria Tee Shirt: $20 per person inclusive.

Olympic-Style Rowing and Culinary Teaming — Let the professional staff of Misty River Inc. take your team to the next level of success with Olympic-style rowing team-building available in only three other cities in the country.

Or, for the less adventurous, Culinary Teaming, one of the hottest trends in team-building, provides a great way to encourage participation, communication, cooperation and innovation.

Alexandria Historic Pub Crawl — After business is done, what better way to unwind than with a Pub Crawl! With over 200 restaurants and pubs in a 15-block radius, there's something for everyone.

PAINT Alexandria — A hands-on art appreciation experience that combines instruction, history and a lot of fun! Tour, educate and participate. Include a combination of any or all of the following: a private tour of the Torpedo Factory Art Center; a private class in any of the fine arts at Alexandria's Art League; lunch, dinner or afternoon tea in a nearby gourmet restaurant; a walk through our city's finest galleries; a motorcoach tour of Alexandria's public art trail; and/or a walking tour looking at the renowned architecture of the Old Town district.

Fun, the Colonial Way!

Of Pubs & Patriots Dine-Around — Brimming with history and ambience, many of Alexandria's restaurants offer more than a great meal. Let a costumed guide escort your group through the historic streets of Old Town. Enjoy cocktails and appetizers at one restaurant, dinner and dessert at another as you hear folklore about our historic city along the way. Add a souvenir tri-corn hat or Mount Vernon shot glass.

Dine & Dance 18th-Century Style — Enjoy dinner at Gadsby's Tavern, featuring Colonial-inspired regional cuisine, costumed wait-staff and period entertainment. Dessert is served in the museum's ballroom where you will enjoy 18th-century dancing, complete with musicians and your own private dance master.

American Heirloom Experience — This inspiring evening includes a private candlelit tour of George Washington's Mount Vernon estate with dinner at the charming Mount Vernon Inn. Colonial atmosphere and menus inspired by George and Martha makes this a truly memorable event. Transportation included.

Toast the Ghosts — Follow our 18th-century costumed guides as they lead you by lantern light, sharing ghost stories, legends and folklore about Colonial Alexandria. You will hear unsolved mysteries, tales of romance and stories of angry ghosts looking for revenge. After an hour-long tour, adjourn to one of our historic "haunted" venues for a ghostly cocktail reception. Let us plan your ghostly experience!
